Our cloud backup solution stores your data securely in an off-site data centre, providing an extra layer of protection against Ransomware. Your data is encrypted for added security and can be easily restored to your business in case of an IT failure. However, recovery time may vary depending on the internet connection available.

With a traditional backup, your data is stored on-site and can be removed or swapped daily. While this is a viable option, it requires someone to manage it. Usually, you would perform a data backup and create an image of the boot partitions for easy recovery. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to manage and monitor these backups for failure or warnings centrally.

A hybrid solution combines the best of both traditional and cloud-based backups. This approach allows for multiple locations and copies of backup data, minimising the risk of data corruption. Backups are stored on a local NAS unit for quick restores, with images of servers up to 24 hours old. Shadow copies are enabled on all equipment for quick restores of accidental deletions and previous versions.

Our cloud platform stores backups of data off-site and monitors all backups, alerting us to any failures or issues. This effectively replaces the external hard drives that someone was responsible for swapping daily (which tend to get forgotten). The cloud backup platform also protects against Ransomware.
