Andy, one of our Directors, is taking on a pretty tough challenge this June 🚴♂️
He’s joining a group of riders for the Ciclo Italiano 2026 Cycling Challenge…a demanding 300 mile ride through Italy…all to raise money for an amazing charity, Rugby League Cares.
It’s not just a scenic cycle… it’s a real physical and mental test, and Andy’s been putting the miles in behind the scenes to get ready for it!
This unique event takes riders through one of Europe’s most spectacular cycling landscapes over five incredible days, covering approximately 300 miles through the heart of Tuscany. Visiting iconic destinations including Florence, Arezzo, San Quirico, and San Gimignano, before finishing back in Pisa.
Every penny raised will go towards supporting seriously injured rugby league players through the Benevolent Fund, as well as helping fund vital work around brain health in the sport.
Here’s a picture of the team that completed the challenge last year…

If you’d like to support Andy (and give him that extra push when the hills kick in!), we’d be incredibly grateful…you can donate here.
Even if you can’t donate, a quick message of support goes a long way…we’ll be cheering him on every step of the way!
We’ll keep you posted on how he gets on…hopefully with a few photos (and maybe some tired legs!) along the way.
Thanks so much for your support!
